Andrew Plinio is a working actor, writer, musician, and creator. His credits include Television, National Tour, Regional Theatre, and Voice Overs.
Andrew was born and raised in Clinton Township, New Jersey, on an old dairy farm. Having little to no interest in livestock, Andrew became very involved in community theater at an early age and trained extensively at a local performing arts school. He was a member of the nationally recognized Paper Mill Playhouse Summer Musical Theater Conservatory for five years. In addition to being an actor, Andrew has directed and served as musical director for a number of productions.
Andrew is an advanced piano player and has been playing for over 20 years.
In 2014, Andrew toured with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in the role of Patrick. The following year, he was cast in HBO's new series 'The Young Pope' in the role of Billy.
Andrew is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan's top-ranked B.F.A. Musical Theatre program (Class of 2022, Go Blue!).
Most recently, Andrew performed with the Utah Shakespeare Festival’s 2021 season as Dromio of Ephesus in THE COMEDY OF ERRORS and Ensemble (Dance Captain, u/s Sargent) in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE.
Creatively, Andrew is actively writing original musicals and plays. He has co-written pop/jazz songs for singer Stella Katherine Cole, worked with SNL writers, and collaborated with other top NYC industry creatives.
